A new management team in SIGNAL Iduna
 Leslie Jones BREER was appointed as President of the company SIGNAL Iduna, joined in the Directorate by Tiberiu MAIER and Rainer SCHONBERG, who will occupy, each, the position of Vicepresident. Company's management changes were approved by the ISC - Insurance Supervisory Commission, on April 21, 2010.
With a vast experience in insurance - over 20 years of activity in the SIGNAL Iduna Group -, Leslie BREER has been present in Romania since 2007 and led the organization project of the insurance company, at local level. The current Vicepresident, Tiberiu MAIER, joined the SIGNAL Iduna team in 2007, and the last position held in the company's structure was that of Product Development Manager. Rainer SCHONBERG, the second Vicepresident of the company, has an important career in the SIGNAL Iduna group, as a member in the Administration Board of SIGNAL Iduna Poland and Hungary, and running, at the same time, the International Department of the Group.
"The objectives of the new management team are to further invest on the Romanian insurance market, and to develop a strategy to approach the market that would bring the SIGNAL Iduna solutions closer to customers", said, in a press release, the representatives of the company.
With a century of experience in the field of complete health insurance solutions and with 13 million clients in Germany, the main business segment targeted by SIGNAL Iduna is represented by private health insurance. Meanwhile, SIGNAL Iduna also focuses on the life and accidents insurance segment.
For the next years, the main objective set by the company's new management team is focused on providing and maintaining the position of leader on the private health insurance market in Romania, while offering competitive and innovative solutions for life and accidents insurance.
