AIG Life: leader in five years!
Insurer AIG Life aims at reaching the top position of the Romanian
life insurance market within the next five years.

AIG Life intends to keep its leading position in 2008 in what concerns
growth and profitability in life insurance.
Thus, as seen in the 3Q/2007 results, AIG Life is the most profitable
life insurance company in Romania.
According to estimations made by Insurance PROFILE Review, the insurer
posted a premium income of EUR 68 million for 2007.
"2007 was the best year the company had in Romania so far", Theodor ALEXANDRESCU
stated.
Besides, AIG Life was granted the Company of the Year - Life Insurance
at the Insurance Market Awards Gala in November 2007.
"We are in line with our plans, as we had a ten years project settled when we
entered the Romanian market, while for the next ten years we also have some important
plans. 2008 seems to have all the premises for making a growth at least as big",
the official added.
So, this year the company will focus especially on a type of life insurance
similar to private pensions.
