ARDAF has a new Board of Directors
The shareholders of ARDAF voted the amendment of the constitutive act, and as a result the company will be managed by a board composed of 5 members (compared to only 3 in the previous version). They are elected for a period of 2 years. In turn, this Council will entrust the operative management to a Directing Committee.
Also, the Ordinary General Assembly of Shareholders (OGAS) has decided the appointment of Adina BACIOIU as Administrator of the company, replacing Bogdan VETRICI SOIMU. The Chairman of the Board of Directors is Daniel TUDOR, and the 2 new members are Stanislav UMA and Eva STEFANIKOVA.
Founded in 1992, ARDAF is to be taken over by GENERALI PPF Holding, which announced at the end of June that it would buy both ARDAF and RAI, through an agreement with the Czech investment fund PPF Investments, transaction after which the company is to control 72.7% of ARDAF and 99.9% of RAI.
At the end of the first half, ARDAF occupied the nineth place in the top of the Romanian insurers, recording gross written premiums of RON 218 million (EUR 59.4 million) and a market share of 4.93%.
