AXA PPP Health Care comes in Romania
AXA PPP Health Care, one of the most important private health insurance providers in Great Britain is going to operate on the Romanian market starting the second half of this year. The company has already notified The Insurance Supervisory Commission in our country about their intention of entering Romania's profile market in the virtue of the right to free services circulation.
According to some market sources, the company is going to offer corporate health insurance policies through some important brokers.
The insurer has sub-contracted UNIREA Medical Center for the medical services.
According to the Insurance PROFILE Review, the value of the gross written premiums in health insurance in the January-March 2008 period has reached EUR 1.97 million, which represents a nominal negative change of 8.36% in euro as compared to the same period of 2007.
