An extra EUR 12.6 million to EUREKO Asigurari's share capital
The Dutch group EUREKO increased the share capital of EUREKO Asigurari with EUR 12.6 million (RON 53.07 million), up to EUR 36.3 million (RON 153.2 million), an investment announced in July.
In fact, EUREKO said at that moment that it would operate a capital increase of EUR 25 million, to support the development of insurance and pensions subsidiaries in Romania. Thus, an increase of EUR 12.6 million was allocated for the insurance segment and another one of EUR 12.4 million - for the private pensions business.
The Dutch group is present on the Romanian market with EUREKO Asigurari and EUREKO - Societate de Administrare a Fondurilor de Pensii Private.
"We focus on key segments, namely pensions, health insurance and life insurance, which we consider to have a high development potential", Shaun RUSSELL, Commercial Director of EUREKO in Romania has stated.
According to statements of company officials, the EUREKO expansion strategy is combining growth through acquisitions with organic evolution, by expanding existing operations and by developing the distribution capacity.
