B.A.A.R. will host the General Assembly of the Council of Bureaux in Romania in 2012
 In 2012, B.A.A.R. will host in Romania the annual meeting of the Council of Bureaux, an event that traditionally takes place in the last week of May. "The importance of the event comes from the fact that, this way, the reliability and stability that were proven by the Bureaux of Motor Insurers in Romania (B.A.A.R.) are certified", Liviu STOICESCU, President of B.A.A.R. said.
"The meeting will last for two days. Along with National Bureaux delegates, high representatives of the Romanian Government and Parliament, as well as the leadership of the Insurance Supervisory Commission will be invited at the opening ", Liviu STOICESCU added.
B.A.A.R. represents the professional association from our country, member of the Council of Bureaux since 1965, and consists of all insurance companies from Romania authorized to practice mandatory MTPL insurance and mandated to issue documents of Green Card motor liability insurance.
Le Conseil des Bureaux/Council of Bureaux was founded in 1949 and it manages the Green Card system, implemented since 1953, under the aegis of the United Nations Economy Commission for Europe. Currently, the Council of Bureaux has 45 members and it has its headquarters in Brussels.
