CIG Romania Asigurari de Viata is being launched
At the beginning of next month, the Romanian life insurance market is making place for a new player. Thus, on October 1st, the launch of CIG Asigurari de Viata is taking place, a company which will operate as a branch of CIG - Kozep-Europai Biztosito, also known as PANNONIA Insurance, according to company officials.
CIG Romania will operate exclusively on the life insurance segment, and it has already launched, in July, the first product - OPTIM - Unit Linked Life Insurance.
"Regarding our products, we chose the Blue Ocean strategy, in which we focus on the customer, not on the competition, which allowed us to create a product according to the real current needs, and thus we will not very much focus on traditional life insurance. By the end of this year we will launch another unit-linked product, and another one in the first half of next year", Robert EMANOIL, Marketing Manager of CIG Romania Asigurari de Viata, said for XPRIMM Newsletters.
"The local management of the new company is provided by Dan OVIDIU, General Manager, and by Cristian TUSZ, as Director of Operations, people with practical experience in the field, which have brought the right expertise for the company's strategy", he added.
The Bucharest branch was founded in fact in late April, an action that is part of a scale plan which aims to extend the success on the market in Hungary and on other markets: Bulgaria, Serbia and Ukraine.
The CIG Group was founded in Hungary in the spring of 2008 and succeeded, in the first year of activity, to become leader of the unit-linked market in Hungary, ahead of four powerful financial groups, in the fourth quarter of last year, due to a clear and transparent strategy.
