EUROINS grows by almost 50%
In the first months of 2008, EUROINS subscribed over RON 68 million
in premiums, according to company officials. The growth in the national
currency exceeded 46%, compared to the same period of last year.
Motor insurance still holds most of the portfolio (88%), from which
MTPL represents over 50% of the total.
The company's objectives for 2008 are a EUR 50 million in gross
written premiums, a market share of 2.3%, as well as opening a new
line of business.
Since the summer of 2007, EUROINS is a part of EUROHOLD Financial Group.
The Bulgarian group invested EUR 12.5 million to acquire ASITRANS Asigurari.
