EUROINS wants subscriptions of EUR 1 million form agricultural insurances
The company EUROINS Romania has subscribed, in the first 6 months of
the year 2008, RON 1.5 million (over EUR 410,000) on agricultural
insurances.
Compared to the autumn of 2007, when 1,500 agricultural insurances
policies were subscribed, for an area of 8.600 ha, in the spring of
2008, 3,200 policies were realized, covering 36,000 ha.
"We consider EUROINS to be on an ascending path regarding the
volume of the subscriptions, in quite a short time after its start
on the
agricultural insurance market. During this period of time, we have
released the insurance products regarding the effectives of animals,
managing to subscribe 500.000 lei premiums. If in autumn 2007 only
a few branches and agencies had subscribed agricultural insurances,
in 2008 their number has raised up to 50% of the total teritorial structures',
Anghel BURGHILA, Manager of the Agricultural Insurances Direction,
EUROINS, said.
"By the end of the year, we have all the conditions (insurance
products, logistics and well trained personnel) to top the subscribing
target
set for 2008, of RON 3.6 mil. (EUR 1 million) subscribed premiums.
For that, we shall carry on a training program for the whole sales
force, about subscribing the agricultural policies (cultures and animals),
between the 10th and the 30th of September 2008", Anghel BURGHILA
added.
