ING Life appoints a General Manager for the Regional Center of Services in Cluj-Napoca
Koen VANVINCKENROYE, which currently holds the position of Executive Director of Operations and is a Member of the Executive Board of ING Asigurari de Viata, will take over, from March 1, 2010, the position of General Manager of the Regional Center of Services in Cluj-Napoca.
Koen VANVINCKENROYE activates in Romania since 2006, after two experiences in the management of the divisions of operations from ING in Belgium and Greece, having expertise in insurance and pensions and knowledge in project management, actuarial activity, operations and IT. He helped the development of the company by supporting the implementation of Lean Six Sigma methodology, which seeks to continuously improve processes and reduce operational costs.
"I especially appreciate Koen's dedication and involvement in the insurance business of ING in Romania and I am sure they will contribute to the support of the activity of the Center in Cluj, along with his rich expertise and proven management skills", said Cornelia COMAN, General Manager, ING Life Asigurari de Viata.
The center in Cluj-Napoca is part of a regional project of ING Insurance Central Europe, to improve customer service and increase the efficiency of life insurance activity in the Central and Eastern European zone.
The objectives of the ING Regional Center of Services consist both in the centralization and the consolidation of activities for clients, on one hand, and in conducting service activities as an independent business and delivering them at competitive costs and high quality.
The company also announces that it is recruiting new members for the center in Cluj-Napoca, the available jobs being mostly in IT, operations and finance departments.
