INTERAMERICAN will increase its shared capital
INTERAMERICAN insurance company will increase its shared capital
with RON 34.47 million. This way, the capitalization of the company
will exceed RON 100 million, as this operation will be done in cash.
The increase of the social capital will be done with the emission
of 34,469,800 stocks with a denominate value of 1 RON/share. The
shareholders will be able to use their preference right for a month
since the publishing date in the Official Gazette.
INTERAMERICAN is owned by the Dutch group EUREKO. The insurer has written,
in 2007, a volume of gross premiums of RON 69.45 million, scoring a
30% rise compared to 2006. The life segment has increased with over
18% compared to 2006, reaching a volume of underwritings of RON 32.56
million.
Meanwhile, the investment based- life insurances have grown faster,
with 40% compared to 2006.
"Your investment", the unit-linked program, that administrates
6 investment funds, received, for the second year in a row, the Award
for the best life insurance product of the year, granted by PRIMM-
Insurance & Pensions Magazine.
