Intermediate gross premiums of EUR 6 million for ASIGEST
ASIGEST has finished the first semester of this year with a volume
of intermediate gross premiums of approximately EUR 6 million, which
represents a 50% growth compared to the similar period of 2007.
Antonio SOUVANNASOUCK, Managing Partner, ASIGEST, appreciates the fact
that the spectacular improvement of the company's results is based
on the development of the retail business, but without leaving aside
the importance of the corporate segment: "There is a constant
monthly growth in this direction and we are happy to have been right
when we had started investing in the retail development. We are convinced
that the private persons also need the solutions and the services provided
by an experienced broker. Still, the core business remains the consultancy
offered for our company-clients, an area of activity that is getting
stronger and more mature, even if it is not growing with the same speed".
ASIGEST has intermediated, in 2007, EUR 7.11 million (RON 23.72 million)
gross premiums. At the same time, according to the results the company
has provided to the Insurance PROFILE Magazine, the company has registered
in 2007 a EUR 1.40 million (RON 4.66 million) income out of the brokerage
activity.
