MARSH Romania wants EUR 50 million in 2008
MARSH, one of the leading insurance brokers in Romania, aims to reach mediated premiums of EUR 50 million for the whole year 2008, this meaning to repeat, in the second half of the year, the performance achieved in the first semester.
Thus, MARSH wants mediated premiums for the second half to worth EUR 25 million, which would lead to an increase of 6.6% in 2008 as compared to the previous year.
In the first half of the year, the volume of intermediation carried out by MARSH Romania has posted an approximately 50% growth compared with the similar period of 2007, exceeding EUR 24.5 million.
"This evolution is mainly due to the special services and types of insurance newly promoted by MARSH for its customers, which helped the development of clients' portfolio and also the increase in the satisfaction of existing customers. In 2007, the broker has mediated insurance premiums of EUR 46.92 million (RON 156.58 million), placing the second spot between the Romanian brokerage companies, according to the Romanian Insurance PROFILE Review.
