MTPL clients of UNIQA Asigurari will not be affected by the VAT increase
UNIQA Asigurari has decided not to increase MTPL tarrifs in this period, due to increased VAT, but to maintain them at the existing level, to encourage buying insurance as the only way of protection in case of risks.
Also, between June 15 and August 31, 2010, UNIQA Asigurari is running a campaign for MTPL renewal, where customers receive 15% discount, in case of individuals, for the annual payment in advance, 20% discount for any voluntary non-motor insurance acquired along with MTPL, the free service UNIQA MeteoAlert, and other benefits. Under the circumstances of the economic crisis and of the new tax measures that result in lower income for individuals and legal persons, protection of property, of goods and of business is very important, their replacement in case of damage being very difficult, especially in the absence of insurance, the company said. In this context, UNIQA Asigurari has analyzed the possibilities of protecting its clients by adopting such measures that they will not be affected by the inherent price increases. "Besides the assumed role of protection through insurance products, as well as through the special projects of prevention implemented (UNIQA MeteoAlert, Casa mea e UNIQA - "My house is UNIQA", etc.), the company follows its special strategy of approaching the relationship with its customers, by adjusting the offer and tarrif levels according with the economic and social conditions existing in Romania", announced yesterday, on the 1st of July, the representatives of UNIQA Asigurari.
