Mediations of RON 200 million for MARSH, in 2009
In 2009, MARSH Romania mediatied premiums of RON 200 million, a slight increase compared to 2008. "The corporate segment has become quite saturated, but we managed to attract the new customers we had been "chaising" for some time", said Cristian FUGACIU, General Manager of MARSH Romania.
As for the year that just started, Cristian FUGACIU appreciates that it will continue in the same way as 2009. "However, we can expect a growth of the retail in the territory, to the detriment of the corporate segment. Also, we could see that many companies that were operating in Romania have transferred their activity to other countries in Central and Eastern Europe or even gave up their local business".
"However, even in more difficult market conditions, we expect a development of professional liability insurance, as well as of commercial loans insurance", said the leader of MARSH Romania.
