Head of Legal Department
GRAWE ROMANIA ASIGURARE SA, an Austrian insurance company, hires for
Bucharest office:
Head of Legal Department
with responsibilities for coordination of all specific activities of
the legal department and preparation of the legal opinion in all subjects
of interest for the company's management.
Responsibilities:
- To coordinate the activity of Legal Department;
- To provide legal support in all activity related matters of the
company:
- Commercial contracts
- Real Estate
- Labour legislation
- Fiscal legislation
- To coordinate the performance of all necessary legal formalities
related to the company development with all State authorities;
- To draw-up, check and supervise different agreements, acts and
contracts concluded by the company, ensuring that such documents
will be concluded
with the observance of the legal provisions in force;
- To prepare legal opinions regarding various matters with a potential
impact on the company activities;
- Checking the protocols issued by the state authorities giving resolutions
and drafting claims related to these;
- Representing the company in front of Romanian Courts of Law: civil,
commercial, criminal, labour and drafting all legal documentation related
to these;
- Legal advice and law interpretation, upon request, to all departments
related to every day activity.
Main requirements:
- University Law degree;
- At least 5 years experience on legal adviser position within a
legal department and at least 3 years experience on a position of Head
of Legal
Department within an insurance company;
- Proven experience of companies representation in front of Romanian
Courts of Law;
- Excellent knowledge of Romanian legal framework;
- Excellent presentation skills;
- Excellent computer literate;
- Very well organized and with an excellent structured thinking;
- Excellent communicator;
- Result oriented and able to bring about change;
- Ability to work under pressure;
- Strategic approach;
- Critical and flexible thinking;
- Creative and problem-solving abilities;
- Negotiation and managerial skills, political cleverness;
- Strong analytical skills and attention to details, but with ability
to see the big picture;
- Common sense and open-minded;
- Trustee team player, ethical and fair, as well as responsible
and self confident;
- Open, communicative;
- Excellent personal and inter-personal skills, including the ability
to influence at all levels to ensure effective decision-making;
- Very good knowledge of business English / German language.
