OMNIASIG Asigurari de Viata acquisition by AXA, completed
 AXA announced on the 7th of July, that the acquisition of the company OMNIASIG Asigurari de Viata by the Group AXA has been successfully completed. By this operation, AXA becomes 100% shareholder of OMNIASIG Asigurari de Viata. Shortly, the recording of the transaction by local authorities will take place.
"Entering on the Romanian life insurance market offers us an additional opportunity to develop our activities in Central and Eastern Europe", said Cyrille de MONTGOLFIER, CEO of AXA in Central and Eastern Europe.
Founded in 1997, the new company of AXA in Romania (former OMNIASIG Asigurari de Viata) sells financial protection products.
"Our ambition is to develop AXA in Romania, together with the local teams and network of agents, to build a favourite, profitable and sustainable company on the Romanian market", said Cyrille de MONTGOLFIER.
