Over EUR 34 million for CARPATICA Insurance
The Romanian insurance company CARPATICA had subscribed, in 2007, a total amount
of gross written premiums of EUR 34.2 million (RON 114.13 million), 5.99%
more in comparison to 2006.
The structure of the insurance classes' portfolio is divided in two categories,
motor insurance (77%) and others. Fire insurance and natural disasters have
only 5.22% (EUR 1.79 million) in the insurer's portfolio. In the same time,
CARPATICA Insurance paid losses of RON 61.2 million and the company concluded,
last year, over 541,000 insurance policies.
