Over EUR 370 million for ALLIANZ-TIRIAC
The Romanian insurance company ALLIANZ-TIRIAC had reported, last years, gross
written premiums of EUR 371 million, 17% up in comparison to 2006, according
to ALLIANZ Group press release dated on February 21st 2008.
The company's income was, according to the same source, EUR 11 million.
About EUR 30 million represents subscriptions for life and health insurance
segment in the insurer's portfolio and EUR 341 million for property & casualty
insurance class.
ALLIANZ-TIRIAC is leader of the Romanian insurance market. According to the
most recent estimations, the local market is going to announce about EUR 2.2
billion gross written premiums for 2007. In this context, ALLIANZ-TIRIAC is
going to have 16.8% market share.
