ROMANIA: Francois COSTE appointed CEO of GROUPAMA Asigurari
 Groupama has appointed Francois COSTE as General Director of its Romanian subsidiary, GROUPAMA Romania. He will take on this new responsibility as soon as his appointment will be validated by the Romanian Insurance Supervision Commission. Sanda NICOARA, the current CEO, will return to her previous position, as deputy general director and COO (chief operations officer) of the insurer.
Prior to his recent nomination, Fran?ois COSTE worked 12 years for AXA, as Regional COO, AXA Mediterranean & Latin America Region, Regional CFO of AXA Life Asia or Global COO, AXA Technology Solutions. Before this period, he had a long and successful career within the MICHELIN Group. The new GROUPAMA leader has a broad experience in building and managing large, multicultural teams and encompassing a broad scope of functions.
"Romania is one of the significant markets for GROUPAMA universe, with a great potential for development and I am honored to receive this important responsibility, of coordinating and developing local activities. I also count on Mrs. Sanda NICOARA's support in further strategic projects started," said Francois COSTE.
