The 2011 PIA annual meeting will take place in Sinaia
Sofia was, two weeks ago, the host of the 55th annual meeting of the PIA (Presse Internationale des Assurances). On this occasion, the participants of the meeting decided that the next host city of the PIA meetings will be Sinaia, the event following to take place within the 2011 Edition of FIAR - International Insurance-Reinsurance Forum. The honor to host the annual PIA event went to Romania, which had Mexico as candidate. During the same meeting, Daniela GHETU, Editorial Director of PRIMM Publications, was named Vicepresident of PIA.
"The fact that the 56th meeting of PIA members will be held in Romania, in Sinaia, can only bring benefits for the Romanian insurance market. Specialized journalists from all over the world will come to us, will get to know the Romanian profile market and will write about it and about the business opportunities it offers. Romania's visibility through PIA is even more important as the association's objective is to expand to other countries from other regions of the world, such as former Soviet countries and the Middle East ", said, for XPRIMM.TV, Daniela GHETU. Along with Daniela GHETU, Media XPRIMM was represented at the meeting in Sofia by Mihaela CIRCU, Editor in Chief, XPRIMM Newsletters, and by Oleg DORONCEANU, International Markets Coordinator.
The three days of the event were a good opportunity for representatives of the most important insurance publications in Europe to become acquainted with the realities of the Bulgarian insurance market. Also, the meetings with the representatives of the insurers association and of the supervisory authority of the host country provided a complete picture of the Bulgarian insurance market.
PRIMM - Insurance & Pensions Magazine and XPRIMM Newsletters are members of PIA - Presse Internationale des Assurances since 2003, in recognition, from the members of the international association of insurance journalists, of the quality of the Romanian publications published by Media XPRIMM.
