The GENERALI PPF Holding companies in Romania will keep their independent policies
GENERALI, ARDAF, and RAI Asigurari, members of GENERALI PPF Holding in Romania
will run, over the next period of time, on an independent basis, based upon
a synergetic relationship. The development strategy does not imply the merger
of the companies that the Czech group owns on the local market.
"The newly purchased companies will run independently from one another,
developing a synergetic relationship. It is premature to say if our development
strategy will imply mergers between the companies we own in Romania. The transaction
has been finalized, it is too soon to make any sudden moves regarding the common
policy for these 3 companies", according to Vit SEDLACEK, Executive Committee
Member, GENERALI PPF Holding, for XPRIMM publications.
Vit SEDLACEK, one of the 7 members of the Executive Committee, is in charge
for the activity of GENERALI PPF in Romania. His attributions are business
development, mergers and acquisitions for the group in Romania and Serbia.
GENERALI PPF Holding will take over 72.7% of ARDAF and 99.9% of RAI Asigurari.
The transaction is still waiting for the approval from the supervisory authorities.
These acquisitions will allow the holding to expand its operations in Romania.
