The Romanian insurance market will return into the black in three years
 The insurance industry will become profitable in less than 3 years, reaching a business volume of over EUR 10 billion in 5 years.
This is the opinion of more than 60% of the leaders and specialists reunited, for the first time, at the inaugural edition of the "Insurance Day" Conference in Bucharest.
The event, organized by Media XPRIMM, took place on October the 16th 2008, at the Parliament Palace and was attended by over 300 leaders and specialists in insurance from Bucharest and Ilfov County.
The same percentage of people also represents the number of those who believe that in less than three years, life insurance will reach the same share as the general insurance, and that the share of sales through alternative channels (agents, brokers, bancassurance) will exceed the share of direct sales. Also, the same experts consider the health insurance to have the greatest potential of development in the next five years.
