The unit-linked offer increases with the launch of ACORD - BCR Life
BCR Life Insurance has recently entered the market of investement funds related- life insurance, by launching three unit-linked products, under the name of ACORD - BCR Asigurari de Viata. Through these products, the insurer offers its clients three investment programmes as a solution for supplementing the income at the retirement age, the products being adapted and diversified to meet each person's attitude towards risk.
Thus, the ACORD investment programmes variate from low-risk and moderate expected earnings, to aggressive investments with high returns and high volatility, according to the company.
The three products launched by BCR Life Insurance are divided into BCR Piano, a low risk investment programme, in which the investments are mainly in bonds, BCR Forte, whose portfolio includes at least 50% government securities, municipal or corporate bonds, bank deposits or deposit certificates and shares listed to keep a medium level of risk, and BCR Fortissimo. The latest, with a high degree of risk, will fully invest its portfolio in listed shares, as well as in government securities, municipal or corporate bonds, bank deposits or deposit certificates.
Also, BCR Asigurari de Viata will provide free insurance in case of serious diseases for a period of five years, to the first 5,000 people who choose one of the ACORD investment programmes. This insurance covers the payment of a large sum of money in case of the diagnosis of one of the following serious diseases: heart attack, cancer or tumor maligna, cerebro-vasculary attack, coronary bypass, renal failure, major organ transplant.
By launching the ACORD products, BCR Asigurari de Viata is the third insurance company in Romania to confirm the significant prospects of development of unit-linked insurance, in the last week, after ALLIANZ-TIRIAC and GENERALI Asigurari.
They have announced ambitious targets for this year, on the background of the success recorded by the unit-linked insurance products and of the growing interest of the clients of the insurance companies to carry out investments in financial planning tools.
