VIG raises the capital of BCR Asigurari by almost RON 50 million
Insurer BCR Asigurari, member of VIENNA Insurance Group, has increased its share capital by RON 49.69 million, by cash contribution of shareholders, following a decision of the company's management, from February 23, 2010, published in the Official Gazette.
Following this operation, the company's capitalization rose from RON 73.7 million to RON 123.39 million, VIENNA Insurance Group controlling 95.90966% of the share capital.
BCR Asigurari, general insurance company founded in 2001, is a member of the Austrian group since 2009.
VIG is present in Romania through four companies - ASIROM, BCR Asigurari, BCR Asigurari de Viata and OMNIASIG - and ended 2009 with business worth EUR 606.6 million, compared to EUR 608.2 million in 2008, and a gross profit of EUR 24.19 million.
